Welcome to the Home of the Derby Boab Festival

a Celebration of lifestyle of the West Kimberley.
Located in Derby, the Kimberley Western Australia,
the Derby Boab Festival has been running as a Shire initiative since 1961 - now
entering its 49th Year as Western Australia's longest running festival.
The aim of the festival is to promote and
coordinate two weeks of events that showcase the talents and attractions of the
West Kimberley. There are many events and many different groups involved, the
committee thanks all those people who have helped stage the longest running town
Festival in Western Australia.

BOAB FESTIVAL 2009
Preparations are underway for the 48th Annual Derby Boab Festival. The Boab
Festival Committee has already met and members have begun to be elected. Our
congratulations and support goes to:
